Jingle in the Junction
The holiday season is in Valley Junction as Jingle in the Junction presented by Veridian Credit Union returns for four Thursday evenings in 2025. Many businesses extend their hours on Thursday nights to give you more time to find the perfect holiday gift, enjoy dinner, and enjoy three blocks of free entertainment on 5th Street under the glow of over 100,000 holiday lights.

Holiday Shopping
5:00-???: Shops and restaurants are open with extended hours, sales, and mini events throughout the district
Tree Lighting Ceremony
6:00-6:30pm: Join Santa for the lighting of the Valley Junction Christmas Tree at the WDM Fire Admin building, 318 5th
Trolley Rides
5:00-8:00pm: Free horse-drawn trolley rides around the district – load up in Railroad Park
Live Reindeer
5:00-8:00pm: Visit with live reindeer in the 100 block between Rumley’s Reclaimed Things and A Okay Antiques
Live Ice Carving
5:00-8:00pm: Witness ice carvings by the talented Bill Gordish next to Memory Lane, 208 5th
Dance Performances
6:30pm: The Betty Hill Dancers will dance for you at 5th & Maple next to the Theatrical Shop.
Santa & Mrs. Claus
6:30-8:00pm: Santa will be making an appearance each night at the Historic Valley Junction Foundation office in Old City Hall, 137 5th
Food Vendors
5:00-8:00pm: Food vendors will be making hot drinks, food, and treats, on Maple St to keep the family fueled up for holiday shopping
